… The signature system

The weather was beautiful, we were both in a very good mood. When she arrived home she sent me this message:
“You gave me an energy boost yesterday! Before we met I doubted the feasibility of realizing my business dream, thinking I was not that special and just like all the rest. Today I believe I can make it and I’m ready for some action!”
Well, I tell you, she gave me an energy boost all right. And it gave me the strength to continue what I’m doing: helping entrepreneurs realize their business dreams via Personal Branding. All right! 🙂
One of the things we discussed during our Celebrity Day, was the signature system. Much to my surprise she had come up with a signature system , this is something I rarely see with my clients. When I tell them about the signature system, it’s often the first time they hear of it. How about you?
Personal Branding is all about positioning yourself in the market. Being your unique you and showing it to the world (ie your target audience). It is important to know what makes you different and what unique value you have to offer to your ideal client. Your Unique Selling Proposition, or USP.
Having a signature system helps you communicate that unique value, so it’s an ideal tool for Personal Branding. However it’s much more, it’s a framework, a process, a step by step method of helping your clients achieve the outcome they want. It’s a way of putting together a package of what you offer in a step by step system that makes your process more easily understood by your target audience. It shows your authority, it screams “expert” because you show all the valuable transformation you deliver to your clients and the result-oriented process you take them through.
Let me give you an example, my example:
- Become aware of the real YOU
- Reach out to your target audience
- Answer your target audience’s needs
- Name & Claim your brand
- Deliver your message and content
Et volilà, that’s my signature system. It tells you what 5 steps you need to take to build your Personal Brand.
How do you go about creating your signature system?
- Define the results you want to achieve for your client
- Determine the key components of your offer
- Put everything in a logical order and devise the steps
- Give it a catchy name
- Ideally, every letter of the name is the first letter of the first word of each step.
